Today at the gym I spent about 30 minutes on the stair master machine and 30 minutes on the treadmill.
Afterwards I went to yoga class. It felt great getting back into the routine of yoga again. Lord have I missed it.
After class it felt like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. I felt tired, I felt energized, I felt at peace, I felt vibrant.

It was funny how my 15min cardio didn’t seem like a fuss this time around. It’s been almost two weeks since I have been at the gym and today felt great.
The only problem today is that there was so many people there so I cut my workout in half.
Looking forward in going tomorrow after work to finish up and then yoga class.

Tonight was my return to the gym and I decided to go to yoga class.
It was a bit challenging since the last time I went to yoga class was before this semester started and I became preoccupied with school.
I noticed I have become weaker and I was not able to keep up with the poses. My body was very stiff and my balance was off.
I found my peace and center and towards the end of class I was able to easy myself and let go of my worries and really explore my body and enjoy the class.
At the end, in Savasana pose, I cleared my mind and drifted off but like a flicker of light an idea came to my mind.
It was about my boyfriend and his curly hair. It was about how sweet and patient he is and why can’t I be like that. Flow like a steam and to be passive. Why do I have to be a force that creates change?
We have had our ups and down when it comes to the amount of romance, affection, and responsibilities but he has continued to want to be with me.
I now know I need to become like a leaf in the breeze and let life and love take me where ever it goes.
